I did exactly this, drilled out the muffler. From now on, if car drivers
don't see me, they will definitely HEAR me.
I also think that anyone wanting to make their drivers license for a car, they'd
have to make on for a motorcycle first. This way they'd learn to drive, especially
in rain and snow AND they'd learn to watch out for ALL participants in traffic,
pedestriants, bicycles and us motorcyclists.
